Chino Champion

CONTEST PROMOTES PEACE

The National Association for the Advancement of Caring Teachers (NAACT) is sponsoring an art assay contest to honor International Peace in Education Day (recongnized in September).

The contest is open to students in Chino, Chino Hills and Ontario. Applications can be downloaded from www.nacct.org or by contacting Sindi Wasserman at: 628-8811. The theme of the contest is "Peace."

Deadline is Nov. 30, 2005. Submissions may be mailed to P.O. Box 1282 Chino, CA. 91708, Attn: Sindi Wasserman.

Winning entries (including honorable mentions) at each grade level, will be posted on the National Association for the Advancement of Caring Teachers website. the "Grand Prize Winner of the Art, Poetry, and Essay contest will be publicly recognized in the Spring of 2006, as well as have their winning piece posted on the naact.org website.
