EQUAL ACCESS My face is brown...my teeth are white... My eyes are greenish-blue. I am Mexican-American. I'm me and I am you. I want to learn~to fly so high...to win your prize...to soar. I'm floundering...I'm lost at sea... My teacher says: "Do more!" Oh Teacher...I do love you so. You are my second world. Take care of me; Remember too: Without your help to see me through, I'm not sure what I'd do! My parents say to "study hard". But they're not really sure... Of all the things I need at school. To reach the goals I'm striving for. You see, they've worked so hard... And spent their time waging a war... So I could come and sit right here, To learn from you all year. I sit here Teacher...right in front, And look at you each day. I love your room, the way you teach... I love the way you smile. My teacher, don't forget me, please. I immitate your style. For you, my precious Teacher... I will walk that extra mile.
